This past week, the CPL Diagnostic Lab family stepped away from their microscopes, diagnostic machines, and reporting desks to celebrate a major organizational milestone. Marking our 9th Foundation Day, the team gathered for a grand evening at Sarat Sadan, near Howrah Maidan.
The event served as a powerful reminder of how far we have come. Employees from our Kolkata headquarters were joined by team members traveling from our branches in Asansol, Patna, and Jharkhand. It was an evening dedicated to reflecting on our growth, honoring the hard work of our staff, and looking forward to the future of healthcare.

The formal proceedings began with a keynote address from Koushik Ray, the Founder and Owner of CPL Diagnostic Lab. He took the stage to reflect on the journey from a growing local laboratory to a multi-branch diagnostic network. His speech highlighted the core values that have kept CPL thriving for nearly a decade: an uncompromising commitment to testing accuracy, strict hygiene protocols, and putting patient care above all else.
He thanked the staff for their relentless dedication, especially during high-pressure periods, noting that the laboratory’s reputation is built entirely on the daily precision of its workforce.

The Next Frontier: Launching Gene Diagnostics

The most highly anticipated moment of the founder’s address was the announcement of CPL’s next major medical expansion. Koushik Ray officially revealed that CPL Diagnostic Lab will soon be launching a dedicated Gene Diagnostics and Genetic Solutions division.
This marks a massive technological leap for the company. By moving into genetic testing, CPL is transitioning from traditional pathology into the realm of predictive and personalized medicine. This upcoming service will allow patients to uncover deep genetic predispositions, empowering them and their doctors to make highly informed, proactive healthcare decisions.

  An Evening of Culture and Celebration
  Following the awards and the professional milestones, the tone of the evening shifted to pure celebration. CPL hosted a fully curated cultural program featuring hired professional entertainers. The stage at Sarat Sadan came alive with a series of vocal performances and high-energy dance routines. The performances beautifully blended traditional Indian dance forms with vibrant, modern Bollywood choreography, keeping the entire team entertained.
  It was a well-deserved opportunity for our phlebotomists, pathologists, and support staff to unwind, share a meal, and celebrate together outside of the clinical environment.
