The ROMA test, also known as the Risk of Ovarian Malignancy Algorithm, is a tool used to estimate the likelihood of ovarian cancer in women with an already identified ovarian mass. It is not a screening test for ovarian cancer in the general population._x000D_

The ROMA score combines the results of three factors:_x000D_

  1. HE4 (Human Epididymis Protein 4): A blood marker sometimes elevated in ovarian cancer

  2. CA-125 (Cancer Antigen 125): Another blood marker, though not specific to ovarian cancer, that can be raised in various conditions.
