The CPL Diagnostic Lab family recently came together to celebrate a significant milestone — our 9th Foundation Day. The grand celebration took place at Sarat Sadan, near Howrah Maidan, bringing together team members from across our growing diagnostic network.
For one memorable evening, our team stepped away from microscopes, diagnostic equipment, and reporting desks to celebrate nine years of dedication, teamwork, and progress. Employees from our Kolkata headquarters joined colleagues from our branches in Asansol, Patna, and Jharkhand for an occasion filled with reflection, recognition, and celebration.

The formal proceedings began with an address by Koushik Ray, Founder and Owner of CPL Diagnostic Lab. Reflecting on the organisation’s journey from a growing local laboratory to a multi-branch diagnostic network, he highlighted the values that continue to guide CPL’s progress.

One of the most anticipated announcements of the evening was CPL Diagnostic Lab’s upcoming expansion into Gene Diagnostics and Genetic Solutions.
During his address, Koushik Ray revealed plans to launch a dedicated division focused on genetic testing. This initiative represents an important step in CPL’s continued development and its ambition to expand its diagnostic capabilities.
Genetic testing can help identify certain inherited conditions and genetic predispositions, depending on the test performed. The cultural programme at Sarat Sadan featured professional entertainers, vocal performances, and energetic dance routines. Blending traditional Indian dance forms with contemporary Bollywood choreography, the performances brought excitement to the stage and created an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone attending.
For CPL’s phlebotomists, pathologists, and support staff, the event offered a welcome opportunity to relax, share a meal, and connect with colleagues beyond the clinical environment.
